It works in 2 modes. On your home WiFi network or via infrared (IR) blaster.

WiFi mode

- Requires connection to your Sony Smart TV's WiFi network

- Connect your cell phone to the mewingo 2sma WiFi network.

- Open the application and confirm your acceptance in the message that appears on the Sony TV screen.

- The confirmation message can be accepted in the Settings of your Sony TV under HOME → Network → Home Network Setup → Remote Device → Remote Device List, if it is rejected by mistake

- All remote control buttons are supported except Turn on TV. The TV is not connected to the WiFi network when it is turned off, so there is no access to WiFi commands.

Infrared (IR) Blaster Mode

- The built-in IR Blaster must be installed on your cell phone, such as Samsung Galaxy S, Note 4, LG G3/G4/G5, HTC ONE, Xiaomi Mi/Redmi, etc.

- Open the app and control your Sony TV directly.

- No additional hardware required for remote control apps for Sony TVs.
