Infor MFS CE supports service technicians working in the field

Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition is an advanced mobility solution designed to streamline the work of field service technicians. The solution is fully integrated with Infor M3 CE and can be used in online mode while connected to a network or in offline mode where connectivity is not available or not permitted.

Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition allows the technician to access tasks on their mobile device and set various statuses throughout the life of the task. Checklists can be attached to the task and used, for example, as safety checks before starting.

Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition provides insight into spare parts requirements for the job and additionally allows parts to be issued from your van inventory, ordered from the main warehouse, or purchased with delivery options to multiple locations. The technician's working time can be reported along with any miscellaneous costs, such as hotel or meal costs. Equipment readings can be collected and used to reschedule future equipment maintenance as well as to provide the basis for customer billing. A service error report can be created detailing the cause of the equipment problem and detailing how it was repaired. During task closing, the technician can capture the customer's signature and comments and sign off on the task.

Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition also supports bi-directional integration with the Infor Document Management solution, allowing electronic messages to be sent to and from the technician's device (useful in cases such as Jungle DeLight s damage to equipment) and automatically transferred back to the ERP of Infor M3. solution.
